AC Power Sources

APT offers two lines of AC power sources for a variety of test & measurement, avionics, manufacturing, and military applications. Our 5000 series is a manual entry level line of switching AC power sources and our 6000 series is a more advanced automated line of switching AC power sources. Each series includes four models with power ratings of 500 VA, 1 KVA, 2 KVA, and 4 KVA. All of our models are competitively priced and well suited for a variety of AC power applications. This allows us to provide you with the best value in the industry!

Manual

5000 Series of AC Power Sources

  • 4 LED displays to monitor voltage, amps, frequency, power and power factor
  • Range key for 0-150 V & 0-300 V
  • System key to change set-ups
  • Up/Down keys to change parameters
  • 3 memory programs to store and quickly recall test programs
  • Test/Reset key to activate and disable output
  • Universal receptacle to handle multiple country configurations
  • Programmable settings of On/Off/Last for the power on status of the instrument
  • Adjustable high/low limits for voltage, amps, and frequency
  • Over current fold back reduces output current linearly to the voltage in order to power loads that have a high inrush current
  • Switching technology & direct coupled output reduces overall size and weight

Automated

6000 Series of AC Power Sources

  • Graphic liquid crystal display clearly shows voltage, amps, frequency, power and power factor
  • Numeric key pad for the setting of test parameters
  • 50 memory programs with 9 steps per memory to store and quickly recall test programs
  • Test/Reset key to activate and disable output
  • Universal receptacle on rear panel for multiple country configurations
  • Programmable settings of On/Off/Last for the power on status of the instrument
  • Fully programmable high/low limits for voltage, amps, and frequency
  • Over current fold back reduces output current linearly to the voltage in order to power loads that have a high inrush current
  • PLC output for Pass/Fail/Test-in-Process
  • RS-232 interface standard. GPIB and Ethernet interfaces optional for computer instrument control
  • Switching technology & direct coupled output reduces overall size and weight
