Full featured 4 KVA AC Power Source
The 6040 is a full featured switching 4 KVA AC power source. This programmable power source comes standard with a RS-232 interface for computer control or with optional GPIB. The 6040 provides variable output voltage from 0-300 V and output frequencies from 40-500 Hz. The input voltage is 208 V with an input frequency from 47-500 Hz. The 6040 AC power source includes a graphic liquid crystal display that enables the operator to monitor voltage, frequency, current, peak current, power, and power factor simultaneously. Each parameter can be programmed independently along with other parameters such as ramping of voltage, testing time, as well as high & low limits. The 6040 AC power source also provides 50 programmable memories with 9 steps for connecting routines. A lockout feature is also available to protect pre-programmed routines.
The 6040 AC power source offers enhanced features which are ideal for a variety of power applications. The front panel rotary knob allows for instant adjustments of voltage and frequency while testing. The operator also has control of the start/end angle of the wave form, along with programming surge/drop cycles. Additionally, the operator can program the unit for an auto looping cycle and auto run mode which is ideal for burn-in/life cycle testing.
